The Superior General
Members of the Central Council and the National Director with Archbishop Richard Moth.
On Tuesday 9th June 2026, a small group of members of the Central Council and the National Director travelled to Westminster for a meeting with His Grace, Archbishop Richard Moth at Archbishop’s House.
Having translated to the See of Westminster from Arundel and Brighton in February, this was his first meeting with the Central Council since he took office as Archbishop of Westminster. The Archbishop of Westminster is also automatically the Superior General of our Archconfraternity and the Central Council typically meet with him every two years.
The meeting took place in the State Drawing Room, adjacent to the Throne Room, and together we discussed the progress the Guild has made over the past few years under the leadership of +Vincent, modernising and creating a firm foundation to further move the Guild forward, and branching out of Westminster with our events such as the National Mass and the National Dinner which was held in Liverpool last year, and our new partnerships with CymFed and Maryvale. We then moved on to discuss the archbishops own ideas and vision for the future development of the Guild.
Finally we discussed the upcoming National Mass at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 3rd October 2026 which Archbishop Moth will celebrate, for more information visit the Events page.
Exciting times ahead. We thank the archbishop for his guidance and support.
